I am a Registered Psychologist and see clients at my office in Vancouver (Kitsilano). Through a respectful, non-judgemental, client-centred approach, my clients are empowered to become active participants in the treatment process. They learn the skills necessary to cope with difficult emotions and life experiences. I have extensive experience in the treatment of adolescents and adults through my private practice and my work in the public service. The approaches I use include cognitive-behavioural, systemic, brief and solution-focused therapies. However, I will always tailor my treatment and interventions to the needs of my client.
I support clients with challenges related to: depression, anxiety, serious mental illness (i.e. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder), stress, anger, work/life balance, self-harm, trauma and abuse, relationship issues, parent-teen conflict, infertility, use of artificial reproductive technology (i.e. IVF/IUI) and pregnancy loss.
I have a particular interest in women's health including working with clients who have struggled with infertility and pregnancy loss. In addition, recently much of my practice has been dedicated to helping young adults and their families navigate the transition from adolescence to adulthood.
