I like to implement a client-centered approach whereby I take my years of experience and training to adjust a therapeutic approach to best suit each one of my clients. I have ten years of experience working with children and families with special needs, including children diagnosed with Autism, OCD, ADD, FSD, Conduct Disorder, Depression, Pain Disorders, Neurodivergency, Brain Injuries, and Anxiety.
I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and have completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. The goal of sessions is to determine what concerns may be blocking one’s pathway toward their goal and find ways to achieve that goal.
My primary focus areas are couples counselling, children and youth, mediation, anxiety, LGBTQIA+, family counselling, chronic pain and traumatic brain injury, and neurodivergency. I have taken additional training in CBT, DBT, ACT, SFT, Play Therapy, and EFT to best suit my client’s needs.
