I am a Registered Professional Counsellor RPC (Provisional) with a Master's Degree in Education, along with a B.A., B.Ed. and a Diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling. Additionally, I hold certifications in ASIST, De-escalating Potentially Violent Situations and Critical Incident Group De-briefing. I will endeavour to create a safe, secure, empathetic and non-judgmental environment where individuals, couples and families can be open to reveal their vulnerabilities and share their experiences. I look forward to using the modalities of CBT, DBT, EFT, SFBT, along with spiritual and mindfulness modalities.
My extensive teaching background in both the elementary and high school systems gives me a unique skill set in helping teenagers and young adults who experience a multitude of mental health challenges. I welcome teenagers, young adults, adults, families and elderly clients to my location at Acadia Medical Associates in the Centre Mall (441-3310 8th St. E.).
