Hello! My name is Teddy and I am the founder of WAVE Performance and Wellness. I work with various populations from ages 13+. I specialize in working with the Asian population, athletes, high-performing professionals, as well as GBQ (gay, bisexual, queer) men.
By integrating clinical counselling with sport and performance psychology, I help clients navigate challenges related to performance anxiety, emotion regulation, confidence, burnout, injury recovery, and high-stakes decision making. I also consult with leaders and corporate teams motivated to improve team cohesion, communication, focus, and performance culture.
My role is to help you gain insight, challenge you, highlight your innate strengths, and point out what you may be unaware of, all while holding space for you in a compassionate, curious manner. We're on a journey of co-creation where you're the expert on your life and experiences, while I'm the expert in facilitating growth and change.
I help you feel vulnerable, moved, and empowered. To help facilitate growth I take a relational and body-based approach helping you orient to a deeper truth and meaning. In psychotherapy we are rewiring the brain's neural pathways, and I will use neuroscience knowledge to help you understand how our brain and nervous system really impact the way we show up.
