About

Carrie-Lynn is a registered Social Worker and psychotherapist, who supports women, men and their partners, who are experiencing fertility challenges, pregnancy or infant loss, as well as perinatal anxiety and depression. She is also deeply passionate about supporting couples/parents in rebuilding the foundation of their relationship and navigating conflict in meaningful ways. She strives to create a supportive and empathic space, where clients can be open and authentic in sharing their struggles along the journey of parenthood.
Carrie-Lynn is a certified Perinatal Mental Health specialist who works from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Somatic therapy and the Gottman method for couples. She works from an intuitive, client-centered approach with each of her clients and their specific needs.
She works from an attachment, trauma-informed, and LGBTQ+ affirming perspective and strives to formulate strategies to increase confidence, establish balance and help you to feel empowered in all areas of your life. She would love to work with you to process your emotions and make meaning of your unique experiences, so that you can begin to heal.

Finances

  • Session Fee: $160 per session
  • Couples Session Fee: $240 per session
Clients receive a receipt and can submit to insurance providers (most of which cover our services).

The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work

The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work (Couples Workshop) is based on the internationally acclaimed research of Dr. John Gottman as presented in his book, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.It is designed for couples in committed relationships and provides evidence-based tools to help couples improve relationship quality and satisfaction through teaching, demonstrations and couples practice sessions, aimed at: developing skills in managing conflict constructively, gaining skills for perpetual and solvable problems, improving friendship and increasing fondness and admiration. The virtual group begins on August 30th and runs to October 4th, 2022. Available to Ontario residents.
