Our Team
Research shows that the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful change, and that is at the heart of what we do. At The Nook Counselling, we strive to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel heard, supported, and respectfully challenged. You might be struggling with overthinking, intrusive thoughts, stress, burnout, low mood, communication struggles, relationship dynamics, trauma, and the list goes on. We work with adults, teens (17+) and relationships. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you, and work toward your goal while honouring your unique story.

You may be high-functioning on the outside while struggling with self-doubt, burnout, or a sense that something isn’t quite fitting in your life internally.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, yet feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection from themselves or others.
You may find your usual ways of coping are no longer working. This might look like persistent anxiety, low mood, difficulty in relationships, challenges around identity/ belonging, or feeling unsure of how to express yourself authentically.
Our goal is to learn how to work with your brain rather than against it.

Are you feeling overwhelmed with life’s seemingly never-ending demands, yet unsure of how to get out of this cycle? Does it feel difficult to communicate with loved ones and find the connection you once had? Are you struggling to keep up in school or work with managing deadlines and maintaining social connections?
I work with teens 15+, adults, couples and families who are hoping to rebuild connection, understand themselves better, build skills to manage what's coming up, and who are ultimately wanting to improve their quality of life.
