Our ADHD Skills group is designed for adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD by our centre or elsewhere. Over the course of 11 weeks, you will learn key skills such as Time Management, Organization and Planning to help you improve your life. By learning skills to help compensate for your ADHD, you will be more productive! And happier too!

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy – Informed Skills
DBT-informed Skills Group meets weekly for 13 weeks and focuses on skill-building. You will learn: Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Mindfulness, Interpersonal effectiveness. DBT helps if you have experienced any of the following: • Intense emotions • Chronic feelings of emptiness, shame, self-criticism • Urges or behaviors to harm yourself • Volatile relationships • Borderline Personality Disorder or traits • Low mood and high anxiety • Trauma and Impulse control This is a stand-alone service which is offered to individuals who are expected to have individual therapy sessions weekly, either in the commu

Children and Teen Anxiety Groups
Worry Busters for Kids (ages 8-12) Will teach effective tools for talking back to fear and anxiety. Parents will learn tips to support their children when anxious. Children enjoy this workshop finding it calming and reassuring to know they are not the only ones who have fears. #No Worries: A Workshop for Teens (ages 13-18) Does your teen have anxiety about Tests, Presentations, Grades, Appearance or Being Liked? Does worry affect their self-confidence? Teens will be given a toolbox full of helpful strategies to help reduce worries and stress and help them feel more empowered and confident.
