Hey there and welcome to my practice! I'm Michelle, a Registered Social Worker who has been providing counselling services to children, youth and families for over 20 years in a variety of settings including in community mental health agencies, residential treatment centres, and in schools. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable and non-judgemental experience, while working together to help you reach your desired goals. I specialize in providing treatment to children, teens and young adults for anxiety, low mood, behavioural concerns, school refusal, emotion regulation, interpersonal difficulties, and clients impacted by trauma.
I use evidence-based interventions to inform my practice and work from an integrative, strength based approach using both trauma and attachment informed care. I have training in a multitude of modalities that include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, EMDR, Emotional Regulation, and Solution Focused.
