Welcome, and so glad you are here! Hopefully sharing a little bit about me and how I work can help in determining whether my approach might be a good fit for you. I am a queer and neurodivergent Ontario Registered Social Worker, and have experience in providing counselling support in a variety of community-based settings. I use an anti-oppressive and intersectional feminist lens in my work and strive to create affirming spaces that acknowledge the impacts of structural inequities and social injustice. I take an eclectic approach in blending a variety of evidence-based modalities to figure out what most aligns with you.
Clients I've worked with over time describe me as authentic, compassionate, and non-judgemental. When working together some themes explored could be identity, trauma healing, self-compassion, mood challenges, life transitions, boundary navigation, relationships, coping strategies, and more.
I am currently pursuing my MSW and working as an Intern for Kristen Hydes Counselling based out of Vancouver, BC. Through this I am excited to be utilizing my internship to offer reduced-rate sessions to meet the needs of those who may face financial barriers! Feel free to connect to learn more.
