I have been helping children, teenagers and adults with their mental health concerns since 1987. If you are looking for support in managing issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationships, parenting, school, or addiction, or are a partner of an addict needing support, I have experience in helping you and families navigate a path forward. My clients often feel stuck or out of control, and anxiety can often lead to depression and other mental health challenges. Together we can unpack your stressors and concerns, and develop an individualized treatment plan.
I began my career at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, and later worked on the Adolescent and Child Psychiatry units at B.C. Children's and Vancouver General Hospitals, and as an Aboriginal Child and Youth Mental Health counsellor for the BC government. To stay current, I have also completed numerous post-graduate programs.
We all struggle at times, and I am here to guide, support and to help give you the tools and awareness you need to live a life of peace, purpose, and connection. I use a combination of play, art, and talk therapy, depending on the needs. I am an engaged, committed, and caring therapist, and would be honoured to be part of the next chapter of your journey.
