As an Expressive Arts Therapist (ExAT) I use an Intersectional Anti-Oppression Feminist (IAOF) framework. I have partnered with clients on the following issues: confidence, sexuality, relationships, trauma, depression, anxiety, isolation; identity, equity, intersecting, or compartmentalized worlds, age, class, image, physical/developmental/emotional ability. Rekindling connection with personal agency and authenticity, other and community through creativity is in my basket. Queer/Kink/2SLGBTQ+ world aware. Sex positive . Couples, ENM constellations. My outside the box, eclectic toolkit also includes NARM & AEDP.
ExAT is a person-centered, relational and experiential arts-based approach to psychotherapy that engages the client through a process of creative discovery as a way to reconnect with inner resources. Clients may explore issues through: visual art, writing, drama, music, movement as catalysts for personal inquiry, new perspectives and growth.
