I have worked as a Counsellor / Therapist for 26 yrs. I specialize in Mood and Anxiety issues (inc PTSD and OCD) as well as relationship conflict / stress. I utilize a blend of evidence based approaches, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative and Emotion Focused Therapies. I work with compassion, respect, and authenticity with each individual.
One of the most difficult things that is asked of clients, is to be vulnerable and talk about uncomfortable emotions, and hurtful - sometimes traumatic - experiences. Whether your difficulties are right on the surface, or deeply embedded - my goal is to listen and provide a respectful environment in which you can learn and grow.
