I am a registered psychotherapist with over 35 years of experience, providing psychotherapy in university, hospital, and hospice settings, and currently working in private practice. My areas of specialization include Contemplative psychotherapy, loss, aging, and supervision of qualifying psychotherapists. My clients are often interested in exploring the big questions about life, such as: How do I cope with and make sense of loss, illness, or change? How do I live with purpose and commitment? Am I being true to my values? What would I do if I wasn't fearful? What is Love? and, How do I let go?
I will help you remain true to your inner journey, providing skillful encouragement and inspiration. Contemplative psychotherapy integrates compassion therapies, and mindfulness, and helps clients discern what lifestyle choices most nurture emotional and mental well-being and happiness.
The thought of Inner Work is sometimes scary but I assure you that the first step, while difficult, begins a process of healing and self-fulfillment.
