Finding your place between cultures, expectations, and your own hopes for life can be confusing. Maybe you’ve worked hard to make your family proud, but you're still unsure what success, love, or “being enough” mean to you. I’m Teresa, a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I work mostly with teens and adults from immigrant families who feel “in between” two worlds. Many of my clients are 1.5- or 2nd-generation immigrants trying to find a balance between honouring their roots and building a life that feels true to themselves.

I believe that change happens step by step. In our sessions, I focus on creating a safe and supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and explore what matters most to you. I draw from approaches like Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), always tailoring our work to your unique story.

I also support clients navigating ADHD or other neurodiverse experiences, especially when family or cultural expectations feel heavy. We explore how these affect relationships, career, and self, and build strategies to thrive authentically. I offer virtual sessions across Canada and in-person in Calgary.
