As a Registered Psychologist for over 25 years, I have experience & training working with children, adults and families. I work from an attachment framework that emphasizes the important role of relationships that shape our world.
I help clients work with their relationships, stories & patterns that challenge their ability to live their lives fully. Together we explore experiences that they find difficult & work to identify what is needed to make change.
Common child referrals include attention, sleep, regulation, toileting, anxiety, feeding issues, aggression, etc.
In addition to my work in early childhood, I also work with older children, teens and adults experiencing a wide range of social, emotional, behavioural and/or developmental challenges. Common concerns include stress management, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, work-life balance & marital or family issues.
I work out of 2 offices - the ElmTree Clinic and Helix Psychology (in Windermere). In addition to my office practice, I am able to complete school, home and community visits and consults when needed. I find I can collect rich assessment information that can add to treatment planning from other environments.
