I work with capable, caring adults who often feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. Many are helpers, nurses, social workers, caregivers, or are navigating burnout, relationship stress, or major life transitions. They often overgive, people-please, and struggle with boundaries. They usually say, “I understand why I am like this, but I can’t seem to change it.” In therapy, we work with both mind and body, noticing how patterns live in the nervous system. EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy help process what words alone can’t reach, so change is felt, not just understood.
I support adults using EMDR (Level 1 & 2 trained) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1 & 2 in training) to help process trauma stored in the nervous system. My work integrates somatic therapy with a grounded, body-based approach informed by my background as a former national team rower and 10+ years in fitness training.
