I am passionate about my work and feel it is a privilege to be in this role. I feel that everyone is unique; thus, my counselling approach flexes to meet your individual needs by blending techniques. I believe that it is essential to create a warm, inviting and engaging space for you. One that is trauma-informed creates a sense of safety and security as you work through the challenges that brought you to me.
I continue to develop my area of specialty in birth trauma, which I plan to dedicate my career to. I have training through Postpartum Support International in their Perinatal Mental Health Training and can support those with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I am trained in EMDR, advanced EMDR, and integrating somatic approaches to EMDR.
