Clients who are looking for answers, looking to understand how they got to where they are, clients who struggle to control their own emotions, thoughts, or behaviour, these are the clients with whom I work the best. Having said that, I'm very adaptable to the needs of the client. If they need a teacher, I teach. If they need a listener, I listen. If they need a mentor, I mentor.
Using psychoeducation and the Mindsight approach of Dan Siegel, combined with Gordon Neufeld's attachment perspective, Ross Greene's collaborative problem solving, and Gabor Mate's compassionate inquiry method, I'll help you to understand the building blocks of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour and how to manage them all.
I'm a very transparent and genuine person. Clients tell me what they appreciate most about my approach is how real I am in representing myself and the challenges they face. Based on the feedback I have received, I think you'll be surprised how far we can get in as little as one session together.
