Hi, I’m Teah! I aim to provide a warm, inclusive, down to earth and non judgmental space. My approach is collaborative, relational, playful and practical. I work with folks experiencing challenges in the areas of trauma, anxiety, relationships, communication, boundaries, people pleasing, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and gender, sexuality and sexual identity related issues. The bulk of my practice focuses on the experiences of cis and trans women. I love to get to know my client’s lives and stories and will incorporate various evidence-based techniques based on each individual's personality, goals and unique challenges.
I love to help clients develop more insight into themselves through exploring their past and how it impacts their current concerns, while supporting them to take action and make positive changes in their lives. I incorporate psycho-education, emotional regulation strategies, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment Theory and Internal Family Systems.
If you are looking to process distress, have better insight into yourself and your patterns, navigate change and learn some new ways of being, and are looking for a therapist that incorporates deep listening, empathy and humour along with practical tools and evidence based techniques, I would love to hear from you.
