I like to facilitate the development of self-awareness and the ability to recognize the connections within different areas of our lives.
Adolescence and adulthood can be challenging years of transition and adjustment. At a time of great change, I work with this demographic to create a safe space where they feel comfortable to share their world without judgement. It is valuable to get to know ourselves; through self-discovery we can not only learn who we are, but also who we want to become.
I support people through family and relationship conflicts and work to enhance coping strategies to manage challenges like anxiety, depression, anger, stress, perfectionism, low self-esteem, weight management, and dysfunctional parent-child relationships due to mental illness. Stress Management for Students Program
Work one-on-one with a registered psychotherapist through a 6 week treatment plan designed to improve stress management in secondary and post-secondary students. Offered in person (Burlington) or online (anywhere in Ontario). Includes evidence-based techniques from CBT and DBT. $100+HST per session, sliding scale/reduced rate available.
