With 17 years of nursing experience, I am dedicated to supporting individuals with their emotional well-being. I have a deep understanding of how physical health can impact emotional health. Life’s challenges can heighten distress, and I aim to help people navigate these difficulties by enhancing their coping skills, fostering self-compassion, and building on their strengths. If someone feels lost within themselves, we can work together to rediscover their path and restore their sense of direction.
My therapy approach is centered on my clients' goals, providing a safe supportive environment for them to work through their concerns without judgment. I have the most experience with mood disorders, but I see clients with many other concerns. I use mostly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from a trauma-informed, emotion focused approach.
I genuinely care about my clients and what is happening in their lives. I hope my clients feel heard, validated, and emotionally held during our sessions. I hope my clients experience a warm, inviting, and safe space to share their experiences.
