Hi, I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with 12 year of experience. I work with adults and couples dealing with various issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, chronic disease, infidelity, low self-esteem, anger, relationship conflict, improving communication, grief, and career distress. I draw on various evidence-based techniques in my sessions to cater to the unique needs of each client or couple. I may offer homework exercises and activities to reinforce learning and facilitate growth and progress between sessions.
It can be hard to put in words how you feel and to know where to start. As your therapist, I will meet you at your pace and will create a safe space for you to freely speak about your deepest thoughts, goals, hopes, fears and traumas. Deeply respecting the diversity of others, I am also mindful of the role cultural factors play in the lives of my clients.
I have experienced many hardships and loss in my own personal life. This has formed the immense empathy I have for others and the struggles they are facing. I advocate that everyone has the inner strength and resilience to heal and grow from pain with the right support.
