I help adults, teens, and professional helpers build inner strength, confidence, and hope when they are feeling weighed down by stress, anxiety, and depression. My clients feel stuck due to life struggles such as: work, school, relationships, ongoing stress, and loss. They also struggle with finding confidence, peace, and joy within themselves. Sometimes life throws us a curve-ball and we can find ourselves struggling to cope wondering, "How did I get here?" I know life can be tough sometimes and I know how to help.
I’m a skilled professional helper with 12+ years experience. I've worked as a registered nurse, educator, and in the last three years I’ve been working as a counselling therapist for front-line workers struggling with trauma and chronic stress. Some healing approaches I use include: IFS, Psychospiritual, Mindfulness, Cognitive, and Strength-based therapies.
In our sessions we will work together to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and the struggles you face. With curiosity, we will explore what you hope for. I will help you learn how to use self-compassion to heal from your pain, so that you can face life struggles with courage, calmness, and confidence.
