DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOR THERAPY( DBT) and/or RADICALLY OPEN DBT may be for you. Incorporating CBT, MINDFULNESS practices (being in the NOW), Polyvagal System stimulation, trauma therapy, problem solving strategies and skill building, our goal together is to manage extreme emotions, decrease problematic coping, increase safety, and improve quality of life and relationships. Offering INDIVIDUAL, GROUP, and/or PHONE COACHING.
I work primarily with adults experiencing mental health issues, suffer from overwhelming emotions, mood swings, problematic behaviors, and suicidality (i.e. suicidal behaviors, self-injurious behaviors, and eating disorders) and skills deficits, to focus on BUILDING A LIFE WORTH LIVING, while reducing loneliness. Individual and group available.
I offer CBT, DBT, and RO DBT counselling for mental health using therapeutic approaches of mindfulness, and skills training to decrease emotional pain and increase coping. I offer intensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy which includes weekly individual sessions, skills training group, 24/7 phone coaching, and consultation, as well as individual,or group only.
