Beneath that steadiness, there may be grief without a clear name, emotions that feel intense or confusing, or a sense of living between worlds, cultures, or family roles. You might appear capable and high-functioning, while internally feeling stretched thin, vigilant, or unsure where you truly belong. Many people I work with are self-reliant and composed, even when it comes at a quiet cost.
At the heart of my work is a belief that healing happens in relationship, to ourselves, to others, and to the stories we inherit. As a Lebanese-Palestinian therapist, I work with complex identity and intergenerational trauma, and with how family history, migration, ancestry, and structural power shape the body and sense of self.
My approach draws from psychodynamic, somatic, and trauma-informed frameworks, allowing us to work with depth and care. When appropriate, I collaborate with psychiatrists at Psychotherapy Matters Virtual Clinic to offer diagnostic assessment in support of access and continuity. Alongside client work, I am an approved clinical supervisor and practicum site.
