You might find yourself in a loop of relentlessly self-criticizing yet feeling completely stuck. You might be queer or neurodivergent, and feeling exhausted by the expectations of the spaces you find yourself in. You may often shame yourself for not being "normal". You might feel like you aren't able to live your life in a way that truly feels authentic, or even have any idea what that would look like. Prohibitive costs may have stopped you from seeking therapy altogether. You are not broken, you are not your diagnosis, and you are, indeed, welcome here.

Is your child or teen struggling with school, anxiety, ADHD, or big emotions that seem hard to manage? Many young people feel overwhelmed by academic pressure, social stress, or difficulties focusing and regulating their behaviour. When this happens, school can quickly become a source of frustration, avoidance, and low self-confidence. I work with children and teens who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, attention challenges, emotional outbursts, or school-related stress. My goal is to help young people better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop practical skills so they can succeed both in and out of the classroom

Sometimes life feels heavy, relationships strain, self-doubt creeps in, and it can be hard to feel connected to yourself or those around you. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with individuals and couples who are ready to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, rebuild connections, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, struggling with self-worth, or trying to repair and strengthen your relationship, I provide a space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to see things from a new perspective.

Are you no longer able to manage like you used to? Are you dissatisfied in your relationship and feel unsure what to do next? Are you feeling angrier, sadder, or more irritable? Life can often send challenges our way that we aren't prepared for, which can cause us to feel stuck, scared, and lost. Ultimately, we are all looking to feel at ease in our own skin, fulfilled in our relationships, satisfied with our lives, and free to be ourselves. Therapy is a chance to step back from the way we have always done things so we can make sense of what is going on around and within us. To reconnect with what matters most in a safe environment.

Quite often, we manage our biggest challenges with strength and confidence. And yet, there are times when we need an outside perspective that provides clarity, hope, and courage. Each individual has unique strengths and qualities, and my job is to help you connect with the inner strength that makes you resilient and prompts fruitful actions. I have sixteen years of experience helping individuals with depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, marital conflicts, workplace conflicts, and other issues. I have two Master's degrees, one in Social Work and the other in Special Education/Education Psychology.

The unfortunate truth is that life will always present tough times and challenges. Trauma and stress do not discriminate and can be immensely impactful. It may be easier at times to repress difficult feelings and emotions, rather than face them head-on. However, what is repressed can slowly seep out into multiple areas of one's life, impacting self-esteem, relationships, ability to cope, etc. Together, we can work on your goals to enhance what you already have within you to cope, regulate, and enhance your quality of life.

You're not alone if you are struggling with low mood, overwhelming emotions, or stuck in unwanted habits. It can be difficult to stop worrying about the future or ruminating on the past. When we feel overwhelmed by emotions, thoughts, and sensations in our bodies, we move away from social situations and opportunities that used to feel good. We become more disconnected from ourselves and others. We feel more alone, and uncomfortable in our own skin or unworthy of love and eventually, the actions we took to help cope are now becoming a problem of their own. We all have our unique challenges and it can be difficult to manage alone.
