Therapists in T8B

Hi there! I am currently accepting new clients for virtual sessions and in person sessions. My aim is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space in which to help you explore the challenges you may be facing. I use a collaborative and client-centred approach to help facilitate change. I want to add and enhance skills you already have, and I think there is space for a bit of humour in that process. I'm a Registered Psychologist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and EMDR clinician. I have completed training in Narrative Therapy, ACT and Solution Focused Therapy. I use a variety of approaches and tailor them to best meet your needs.

Everyday life presents us with many challenges, and not all challenges are easy to overcome. In order to preserve our mental and physical health, it is important to identify when the challenges we are facing are beyond the normal threshold of storm and stress. We need to make a decision to reach out...Find a professional who will provide us with an environment where we will feel safe, comfortable, respected, listened to, and understood. Where we are able to gain insight into our situation, find a deeper understanding, evoke meaningful changes, improve our relationships, and heal ourselves by using a potential that we already have.

Does your child need support navigating challenges like ADHD, behavioural concerns, hyperactivity, motivation, decision-making, focus, aggression, shyness, or other social-emotional issues? At Positive Kids, we understand how difficult it can be to see your child struggle. That’s why we’ve created a nurturing space to help children and teens develop critical life skills, in the following areas: self-control, self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making. These children ultimately become independent, confident, inquisitive, enthusiastic, responsible and compassionate adults in later years.
