Does your child need support navigating challenges like ADHD, behavioural concerns, hyperactivity, motivation, decision-making, focus, aggression, shyness, or other social-emotional issues? At Positive Kids, we understand how difficult it can be to see your child struggle. That’s why we’ve created a nurturing space to help children and teens develop critical life skills, in the following areas: self-control, self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making. These children ultimately become independent, confident, inquisitive, enthusiastic, responsible and compassionate adults in later years.

Everyday life presents many challenges, and not all are easy to overcome. To protect our mental and physical health, it’s important to recognize when stress goes beyond our ability to cope. Reaching out can help us find a space where we feel safe, respected, and understood—where we can gain insight, create meaningful change, improve relationships, and begin to heal using the strengths we already have.

For the couple or family system who feels out of sync, I understand how quietly painful that can be. On the outside, the system may look okay—even pretty good, at times. But on the inside, you can't shake the feeling that something is not quite right. It can start to feel like you’re living alongside each other rather than truly together—like lonely planets in your own orbits, moving in the same space but rarely touching in a meaningful way. Beneath the irritation, there’s often a quieter layer of loneliness, of wanting to be seen, understood, or reached for… and not quite knowing how to get there.

Choosing a therapist can feel like a daunting task; I do not believe that therapy is one size fits all and hope that the following information will help you decide whether we might be a good fit! My clients describe me as non-judgmental, genuine, warm, funny, enthusiastic and honest. I believe that we only have one shot at this thing called life and that we all deserve to live that life to the fullest (and I would love to hear about what that might mean to you)! In the words of Mary Oliver, "What will you do with your one wild and precious life?"

You are invited into a warm, collaborative space where your story is met with curiosity and compassion. Together, we'll go at your pace to explore life's current stressors and challenges, uncover your strengths, while also healing old wounds and reconnecting with your authentic self. Therapy is a shared journey where your experiences, values, and cultural identity are honoured. We gently explore patterns that may feel limiting, while identifying what supports growth and change. Together, we’ll clarify your goals, take meaningful steps forward, and acknowledge progress as you move toward greater confidence, peace, and purpose.
