I work with clients who are seeking to connect, understand, and embrace their own authenticity; people who are looking for self-development and growth. You want to understand yourself in relation to your lived experience, of course pursuing symptom-reduction, but not just that. You want to work toward lasting change, not just a temporary reprieve from whatever is causing them distress. You are open to exploring parts of yourself that you do not like and make you feel uncomfortable because this is where your truth exists, and without knowing or embracing these parts, you will remain only half of your whole and change will not occur.
As a depth psychologist, my approach is a wholistic integration of mind, body, and spirit. All of these are important feedback influences in understanding our authentic truths. My treatment approaches include, but are not limited to, EMDR, Sandplay, (IFS), MBCT, Acceptance and Commitment, Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, Gestalt and Somatic Therapies.
My primary mission is to support you in your therapeutic work, emphasizing responsibility, accountability and empowering you to develop and connect with your sense of self. This is more than symptom reduction. This is about expanding your sense of self to work through any life challenge that hampers your ability to live life fully.
