It can be difficult to navigate life when you feel like you can't stop the emotional rollercoaster. The fluctuating stress can make us feel out of control which can lead us to cope in ways that often don’t align with our values or goals. I believe that people are deeply impacted by their environment and the systems they engage with (healthcare, social services, education, housing, legal, financial, etc). As a result, I value using an anti-oppressive lens to address and navigate systemic barriers within our sessions.
I use a trauma-informed compassionate approach that focuses on co-creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, seen and validated. There are many ways we can work together to help improve your quality of life and soothe feelings of overwhelm.
