I have over 30 years experience in mental health and counselling, predominantly working with adolescents in community mental health, adolescent residential mental health and with young offenders. I have a particular interest in working with adolescents and adults helping to address issues related to parent-teen conflict, stress management, anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties. I also specialize in grief, loss and life-transitions with teens and adults.
My goal is to help you identify and overcome your obstacles so you can better adapt to change and live a happier, more balanced life.
In addition to over 30 years working with various public mental health programs, I have taught counselling through the Justice Institute and presented at provincial and national workshops. I am committed to ongoing professional development through attending conferences and workshops, self-study and peer consultation.
