I work with teens and adults suffering from anxiety, depression, relationship problems, grief, and the impact of recent or childhood trauma. If you want help to address personal or relational difficulties, I provide a warm and collaborative environment in which your unique values and strengths will be honoured as we attend to the areas in which you struggle. Together, we will gain a deeper understanding of where you are at and of the factors holding you back from the changes you desire. My approach is relational, evidence-based and trauma-informed, and will be tailored to meet your particular needs and goals.
In addition to talk therapy, I have expertise in art therapy. If you are interested in working with the creative process and personal imagery as an alternative means of exploring your inner world, deepening self-knowledge, and expressing aspects of your experience that may be difficult to convey with words alone, then art therapy may be right for you.
I welcome individuals of all cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Reaching out for help can be scary - finding the right therapist that you can trust and feel comfortable with is essential. Please feel free to give me a call, ask any questions you might have, and see if we will be a good fit.
