I offer individual therapy to adults who feel anxious, depressed, have experienced trauma or loss, are dealing with life transitions, identity development, or looking to enhance mental wellbeing and psychological resilience. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy that acknowledges the role life experiences and social positions have on inflicting and maintaining psychological injuries. Healing from present-day mental health challenges often involves coming to terms with the past. I frequently work with individuals to heal from past traumas and adverse events, with the goal of redirecting these experiences towards personal growth.
My therapy approach is warm & thoughtful. I create a space where clients are invited to be curious & nonjudgmental in how their bodies defend for survival. I have a conversation with my clients to jointly determine what therapy approach makes the most sense for them. I offer EMDR, experiential/polyvagal, and cognitive therapies from a social justice lens.
It is important to me to build a practice that is inclusive and respectful to all the ways that we are human. Feel free to reach out if you would like to consult about how we could work together. In-person sessions can be booked directly on the website. If you are interested in virtual therapy sessions, please call or email me to discuss.
