I offer individual therapy to adults who are struggling with, or wanting to process mood states such as anxious, depressed, or conflicting moods. I specialize in a trauma-informed approach to working with mood difficulties. Life experiences, identity, and social positions play an important part in inflicting and maintaining psychological injuries. I help individuals explore these intersections and redirect experiences towards personal growth. I additionally work with traumas pertaining to marginalization, life transitions, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC issues.
My therapy approach is warm & thoughtful. I create a space where clients are invited to be curious & nonjudgmental in how their bodies facilitated survival. I have a conversation with my clients to jointly determine what therapy approaches make the most sense. I use a cognitive-experiential approach, EMDR, and parts work with a neurobiological understanding.
