I am a Registered Psychotherapist who is committed to helping others live life to their fullest potential by addressing the challenges they are experiencing. I believe in building a therapeutic relationship that is respectful, genuine and meaningful, while collaboratively creating strategies and solutions. I believe that clients access therapy for a variety of reasons and my approach is to draw upon your strengths and develop interventions that best fit your individual needs. I have more than 20 years of experience working with children, youth and families in a variety of settings helping them to live their best lives.
My work has been in the field of children’s mental health and I have developed expertise to effectively support my clients with the struggles of parenting, to understand and repair relationship issues, understand emotional difficulties and help children experience success at home, school and childcare.
I work from an integrated, strengths based and trauma informed perspective, using principles from various therapeutic modalities such as attachment theory, life span development, early years, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy and cognitive behavioural strategies and techniques.
