I am a Psychotherapy provider with over 30 years of experience in both hospital and community settings with the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of issues impacting adults and youth such as: anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, psychosis, couple and family issues, interpersonal difficulties, anger management, work/school and legal issues.
Whether working with adults, adolescents, individuals, couples or families I utilize a client-centered humanistic approach in order to develop therapeutic rapport and create individualized treatment plans using a variety of approaches that include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dalectical Behavioual Therapy, Emotionally Focused, Psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Coaching and Conflict Resolution.
I have received training in CBT, DBT, Substance Use, Depression Care, Trauma, Couple and Family Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Mental Health Commission of Canada "Mental Health First Aid" training.
