Hi, I’m Stephen, a therapist and trained OCD clinician specializing in OCD, anxiety, and related conditions. I was born and raised in South Africa and later moved to Victoria, BC, where I completed my Master of Counselling degree.
My work is informed by both clinical training and my own experience with OCD, anxiety, and body dysmorphic disorder. I understand how overwhelming, scary, confusing, and exhausting these obsessive experiences can feel, and I aim to offer a space grounded in compassion, non-judgment, and real understanding. My approach is collaborative and evidence-based, focused on helping you move toward your goals.
I primarily use ERP and ACT, the gold-standard treatments for OCD and anxiety.
I am a trained SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) clinician, providing support to loved ones of someone struggling with OCD or Anxiety. My clinical experience also includes addiction, complex trauma, depression, relationship struggles, and shame.
Outside of work, I spend time with friends, watching movies, and being outdoors. You can also find me with Oreo, my clinical associate, who also happens to be a cat.
