I provide support to adults dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, and parenting concerns. A strong rapport and safety are key to successful psychotherapy. Working from your strengths, we create a container for your everyday struggles and meaning-making. My ideal client is motivated to look at themselves and welcomes collaboration. This client is seeking more inner awareness and is on a healing path. I will meet you there, with authenticity, curiosity, and creativity, integrating evidenced-based research and tools related to trauma, attachment, the body and mindfulness.
I have over twenty years of experience building relationships, asking engaging questions, and supporting people from diverse backgrounds to learn and grow. I will validate what is going on for you, bring awareness to underlying feelings or parts, provide perspective, create experiences so you can go deeper, and give you some tools to apply in everyday life.
I have a Master's in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto, with additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed and attachment approaches (including EMDR), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). My approach is adaptable to the needs of my clients. I am LGBTQ+ positive, French and Spanish speaking.
