About
I am a Clinical Social Worker with experience working with younger and older adults who struggle with a variety of issues, including grief, loss, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions and self-esteem. I also have considerable experience working with older adults and a variety of issues related to chronic and life limiting illness, aging and dementia, and caring for the needs of the dying at end of life. I received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Vermont, as well as a Palliative Care Certificate from the California State University Institute for Palliative Care. I am also a certified End-of-Life Doula.
I focus on a person-centered approach to meet individuals where they are in their journey, incorporating techniques such as CBT, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy and many others. I believe in working together to help process & manage challenging emotions and life transitions, while empowering you towards reaching your goals, no matter how big or small.
Finding the right therapist can be daunting, so I encourage you to reach out and we can chat for 15 minutes, giving you the opportunity to ask a few questions prior to us committing. I strongly believe that the relationship between therapist and client is one of importance for the best positive outcome. Currently available evenings and weekends, online only.
