I feel people need to communicate with each other more often. We need to talk in a non-judgmental environment and realize that it's ok to ask for help. I will try to help anyone who wants to make positive changes in their life. I feel counselling is not only for those living with a mental health disorder, it is also for those who wish to maintain optimal overall wellness.
I have helped those living with ADHD, autism, self regulation concerns and addictions. However, helping individuals struggling with relationship challenges has become my favourite area of private practice.
I once asked my father what I should do for a living. He said "my son, if you can wake up in the morning and your job is to help someone, that's a wonderful way to make a living." He was absolutely right! I can't promise to fix everything, but I promise to listen and try my best.
