Are you concerning about your child or struggling with how to support them? ? Here is the right place for you and your child! My name is Sylvia and I am a Registered Play Therapist (RPT-USA) and a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Vancouver. Over the past decade, I have been providing play therapy for children and preteens who have low self-esteem, behavioral issues, anxiety, selective mutism, depression, and other challenges in life such as living with trauma, divorce/separation, and violence/abuse.
I believe in a person-centered and humanistic counselling approach. I offer individual Child-Centered Play Therapy and group play therapy for children aged 3-10 who are experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I also provide parent consultations and parenting groups to support parents or caregivers.
As the founder of Starry Wonderland Play Therapy, my mission is to provide a safe and nurturing space for children and their families where they are heard, understood, and empowered during their journeys. I am here, I hear you, I underhand and I care.
