If you are struggling with anxiety, grief, multi-generational trauma, or other challenges, please reach out. I would like to support you in your healing.
I am from Mistawasis First Nation, in Treaty 6 Territory. The impacts of Inter-generational trauma, years of loss and grief and trauma, mixed with ongoing racism and bullying, took their toll in my younger years leading me to my own healing journey and to the discovery of my calling to help others do the same. This led me to do my Masters of Indigenous Social Work and to focus my work specifically on mental health.
I believe that the combination of lived experience, personal insight, my western education, and my knowledge of the Indigenous Ways of Knowing allows me to be an excellent support for Indigenous clients on their own paths to healing.
I am proud to be a part of Balancing Within Holistic Therapeutic Services, a network of Indigenous clinicians, working to ensure a high standard of mental health services for Indigenous peoples.
