After many years of working in public healthcare, I have a wholistic understanding of the links between our mental and physical health. I understand how family, relationships, work and community systems that we live in can impact our health. I strive to create an anti-oppressive and anti-racist safe place to support you to navigate diverse life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma and post-traumatic responses, and mood issues and disorders. Coming to gently understand what causes us to feel and act the way we do can lead to self-reflection and positive changes.
As a PhD psychotherapist, I know that connecting to our authentic values and discovering who we truly are can help us to reduce conflict and suffering. Learning how you can change the things in your life that are no longer working for you can lead to delightful new ways of being, and a more deeply meaningful life.
Sometimes things happen that make us forget our strengths and can make us feel abandoned. Coming back to yourself can help to reduce painful thoughts, feelings, and patterns. Let's work together to help you find your centre and confidence, to develop self-compassion, and feel more to connected to your life.
