I offer individual, couple and family therapy for a wide range of issues including; divorce/separation, trauma, grief, co-parenting, substance abuse, school refusal, family conflict, eating disorders and mental health (specifically, anxiety and depression). I have assisted many couples and families in improving their relationships with one another, providing them with the ability to communicate, respect and understand each other better using Collaborative Problem Solving and Emotion-focussed therapy.
I have been practicing as a Counsellor for 10 years and earned my Masters Degree in Social Work through Wilfrid Laurier University. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior therapy, Psychotherapy, Dialectic Behaviour Therapy, Emotion-focused therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative therapy. Certification in Trauma Counselling.
