About
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a focus in supporting individuals (adults), couples, and families managing depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, as well as a wide range of emotional and behavioural challenges. Through my practice, I support clients develop skills and coping strategies they need to manage distress and live the life they want. When working with couples and families, I can help identify the negative cycle that clients find themselves in and support in changing the pattern to one that fosters acceptance and connection.
To do so, I endeavour to create a safe space where clients feel they can be vulnerable. It is also important for me to work collaboratively with my clients to understand their current concerns in the context of their unique history, values, and goals for therapy.
My practice takes an integrative approach drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I provide therapy in Korean.
