As a Social Work professional I am dedicated to helping individuals, families, groups and communities enhance their individual and collective well-being. I can help with individual and personal problems but also with broader social issues such as poverty, unemployment or domestic violence. As a Social Worker I aim to help people develop their skills and their ability to use their own resources and those of the community to resolve problems.
In private practice I offer services like counselling, psychotherapy, assessment, mediation and consulting. I have 13 years of varied Social Work experience and continue to educate myself on the most recent therapies that will help my clients find the strength to continue on Life's (sometimes complicated) Journey.
I am a Breast Cancer Survivor for the past 10 years. It has been a constant journey of ups and downs and I look forward to helping and supporting anyone affected by this disease. I love working with pregnant and new moms, and I would say I specialize in the safety, care and support of all children.
