How long have you been the person everyone else relies on? Maybe you're the friend who offers everyone else advice but can't seem to offer it to yourself, the family member who is takes care of everyone but can't seem to find time for self care or you're the coworker always ready to help on projects but can't seem to set that work/life boundary. Being "the helper" is often a role that feels rewarding and meaningful to people, but it can also be emotionally demanding, isolating and exhausting. Whatever brought you here, therapy can be a space where you learn how to offer yourself the kindness you give everyone else.
My name is Robin and, while I work with a variety of concerns, my work primarily focuses on helping the helpers. Saying "put yourself first" is easy, but leaning how takes time. I like to use a combination of talk therapy, relaxation techniques and parts/internal family systems work because I believe that every part of you deserves to feel at ease.
I want therapy to be accessible for as many people as possible so I offer reduced fees if needed. You can check my website or email me for more details.
