As a recent immigrant, I am familiar with the process of being uprooted, losing your familiarity and trying to find stability in a new home. It can be scary, exciting, overwhelming and confusing. Being human means we have the ability to experience a wide range of emotions, often at the same time! It is possible to feel grief and joy in the same experience. Sorting through those emotions can be difficult, and therapy may be what you need to find clarity and connection with yourself through life transitions.
In addition to working with people of colour and immigrants, I can assist with personality disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and more. Therapy is a space to create a bubble of safety, to build trust and to heal wounds so that you can continue to thrive in your life.
