My goal is to connect with you in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. I work collaboratively with clients towards finding relief and life changing solutions, recognizing that people have power and strength within them. Whether it's problematic relationships, parenting support, anxiety, depression, family dynamics or trauma that is impacting your life, I have seen over and over that change can happen. I offer a warm approach to therapy and welcome any struggle, small or large. I work with adults as well as children/teens. I am known for easily connecting with children and adolescents.
I specialize in individual, couple and family counselling as well as parenting support and trauma counselling (EMDR Therapy). I use creative and art-based therapy methods with children/teens. I am an attachment based therapist whose foundation is focused on a client-centered approach and solving problems, not just talking about them.
I have additional training in the areas of trauma and EMDR therapy as well as directive and non-directive play therapy in my work with children. In counselling with all clients I focus on listening and developing strategies based on how each person is wired.
