Humans are social animals; our brains are built for connection. We crave safe relationships to support us to feel, heal, deal, and grow. We all want to be the best version of ourselves, we just may not know what our best self looks like, or, may lack the support and experience required to discover such. When we are supported to identify and address the unmet needs that may block us from feeling like 'our best', we gain a greater sense of self. By understanding the impact of our relationships, attachments, and environments, we are able to truly make sense of the choices we make, and actions we may - or may not - take.

You may be someone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or quietly exhausted, despite how you appear to others. Maybe you are a couple or family requiring relational support. You might love and support someone neurodivergent, or are neurodivergent yourself and feel caught between understanding yourself and the expectations of the world around you. Perhaps you’re navigating a life transition, living with grief or loss, shifting your sense of identity, or feeling weighed down by perfectionism, self-doubt, or responsibility for others. You may be longing for clarity, meaning, and a way forward that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

The most impactful patterns are the ones we can’t see. The ones that have been normalised since childhood. They are in the way we love & fight, the partners we choose, the friendships we uphold and the boundaries we find difficult to set. Some of us don’t even see these patterns in our lifetime. We do not notice because it has been our normal for so long. Trauma often goes unidentified because it is disguised as family traditions, cultural expectations or love languages. If you’re struggling, I hear you. It’s tough, and therapy isn’t about pretending it’s not. Healing & breaking cycles would require us to first see these patterns.

Change can be difficult. I’m here to be attentive to your journey. The change that is needed might be in your environment – to find and build a community of support. It may also mean a renewed perspective to view the challenge in another way, or perhaps an opportunity to learn from others and yourself. Varied life experiences shape each of us and provide perspective on our understanding of the world and the web of relationships we develop.

Perinatal anxiety and depression are very common, and we can work through those together.
Each client has unique struggles and I take a holistic view in how we process those struggles. No one treatment model works for everyone, which is why I have thorough training in a few of the evidence-based therapies including mindfulness-based ones. With a free 15-minute consultation we can go over this and ensure that we are the right fit for each other.

It only gets harder when dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or ongoing stress; let alone the impact of trauma.
I use EMDR, IFS-informed therapy, and CBT to help clients explore what’s holding them back. Our sessions are tailored to your needs and goals. Together we will work on the areas you are wanting change; the things you are struggling with. To do this, I promise to provide a safe space, free of judgment, where vulnerability is welcome.

While on the surface, often things can ‘look good’ on the outside, yet we may still be trapped by our pain, fears, guilt or shame on the inside.
I rely on a holistic and integrative approach drawing on several therapeutic modalities for my clients needs. My job is to bring curiosity to your life and support you through your process as you work towards the life you envision for yourself. I believe everyone deserves to thrive.
