I work with burnout, stress, comparison, perfectionism, inner child healing, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, women’s issues, midlife, highly sensitive people, chronic pain, boundaries, communication, regulation, and more.
Welcome! I am so glad you are here! This space is for you to set everything down, rest, and heal. A space to release, integrate, shift and grow. I work with those who feel ‘not good enough’, ‘too much/too sensitive’, and those looking for a deeper sense of themselves. Many people come to me when they are feeling a sense of overwhelm, stress, and uncertainty. Whether it is from experiences of grief and loss over loved ones or life transitions, from the experience of navigating midlife and the multiple stressors, or navigating feelings of exhaustion, burn out and feeling ‘stuck’ in relationships, workplaces, etc.

I work with young adults and adults and a wide range of life experiences including trauma, anxiety, depression, stress and relationships challenges.
Welcome, I am glad you're here. My name is Dana and I am a caring and empathetic therapist. Life can be stressful, overwhelming and isolating. It can be truly helpful to talk to someone who is there to listen without judgement, validate your needs and sit with you in painful feelings. Together, we can make sense of things and build tools to deal with the difficult parts of life. I believe that finding a therapist you feel comfortable and safe with is the most important factor in creating a helpful and positive therapy experience for you. As a therapist, I put your needs and goals at the centre and walk alongside you in your journey.

I work with clients who may be struggling with stress/overwhelm, parenting struggles, depression, anxiety, self harm, addiction, grief and trauma to name a few.
My heart is with parents of children who are struggling because one thing that I know for sure is that if we are no ok, our kids don't stand a chance. Learning and understanding the feelings, emotions and thoughts that arise can be so difficult and so confusing especially in the parenting arena. Renegotiating your parenting relationship as your child grows is something that can expose many negative core beliefs, "triggers" or buried emotions. Looking at those emotions, feeling them and processing them is something that through therapy has been deeply beneficial and can allow you to show up as the parent and person you wish to be.

The most impactful patterns are the ones we can’t see. The ones that have been normalised since childhood. They are in the way we love & fight, the partners we choose, the friendships we uphold and the boundaries we find difficult to set. Some of us don’t even see these patterns in our lifetime. We do not notice because it has been our normal for so long. Trauma often goes unidentified because it is disguised as family traditions, cultural expectations or love languages. If you’re struggling, I hear you. It’s tough, and therapy isn’t about pretending it’s not. Healing & breaking cycles would require us to first see these patterns.
