I specialize in working with queer people exploring gender and sexuality, as well as people coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, disordered eating, ADHD and lower support/Level 1 autism.
As an anti-oppressive counsellor I have a deep appreciation of how people with marginalized identities struggle to navigate systems that make it difficult to simply exist. Together we can look at how to best survive, thrive and heal within and beyond these systems.

I have had the pleasure of working with a highly variable spectrum of individuals. My experience includes work with youth/adults in the correctional system, in-patient treatment facilities, outpatient treatment facilities, NCRMD forensic care homes, and private consulting for individuals ranging from 16-65. I do not have an "ideal" client. I thrive on being challenged, and exploring the human sciences allows me that challenge, regardless of clientele. Over the last year, I have developed my education in child and youth mental health intervention and counselling as well.

Many who leave, deconstruct, or change religion or belief system experience a great deal of loss, stress, anxiety, depression, and overall disorientation.
It is for this reason that we - given our skills as a counsellors and as people who have walked with many on this road - hold space for individuals in this unique, ‘in between’ place of their journey, so that they can move into the future confident in who they are and what they offer the world, and with the needed supports and community.

While I have a special interest and training in perinatal mental health—which includes anything around childbearing (infertility, miscarriage, loss, postpartum, etc.) I’m also passionate about supporting you through common human experiences: relationship stressors, anxiety, grief, people-pleasing tendencies, and boundary setting.
Hey there! Whatever has you seeking support, I'm glad you're here. I look forward to getting to know you and finding out how we can work together while you process, heal, and grow. I'm passionate about supporting your mental well being, by giving you space that's just yours to be fully heard, and seen. Some sessions we may practice building capacity or learning new skills for the hard things, other days we may process childhood memories, or current circumstances. All of the things that make you who you are important.

I provide individual and couples counselling for adults (16 and up), supporting clients through challenges such as anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and healing from family trauma or sexual violence.
Healing from trauma or facing life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. But it doesn’t always have to feel so heavy - you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can simply be yourself. It’s not just about the issues you bring, but about the relationship we create together - one built on trust, kindness, and understanding. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back, we can make sense of your experiences, and we can find new ways to move forward. Whether you are holding onto old wounds, feeling stuck in daily life, or wanting to strengthen your connection as a couple, I am here for you.

I work with children presenting with various difficulties including abuse/neglect, life transitions (parental separation, moving, etc.), anger, anxiety/depression, grief, behavioral concerns, social skills/peer relationships, and bullying - to name a few!
I work primarily with children ages four and up through play therapy. Because we cannot expect young children to sit down and discuss their problems and feelings like adults do, allowing a child to express themselves through play is very effective. This builds on the way children naturally communicate - through play! Play also creates a safe place for children to express something that they find troubling. This means that very difficult topics can be worked through in a playful or metaphorical way which is age appropriate for the child. I am Saskatoon’s first and only Certified Play Therapist.
